Church Life
Can I hold my own personal beliefs as an Orthodox Christian?
We do not have theological sects within the Orthodox Church. We do not have personal theology. All of our theology is handed down to us by our holy fathers, that were inspired by the grace and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the ecumenical councils, to give us the right theology, the right way of worshiping God. Everything that we do theologically in the church is based on the personhood of God.
