What actually makes someone a priest?

Buying a liturgical book and putting on vestments does not make someone a priest. The only thing that makes someone a priest is the ordination through the laying on of hands by a canonical bishop. This is what we have in apostolic succession. If anybody says, well, this apostolic succession, listen, there's two main, you could say, apologetics or defences for this. Number one, Christ says clearly to the apostles, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. This is only given to the apostles. This is confirmed by the fact that all of the church fathers within the, you know, easily first three or 500 years, all affirm this fact. There's no deviation on this. The ability to bind and loose sins is not given to all Christians. It is only given to those who've been ordained through the laying on of hands.
