What does an Orthodox worship service actually look like?

It looks like heaven. The divine liturgy is divine for a reason. It looks like the heavenly worship. We have innumerable quotes from saints, especially in the early church, that show that the Orthodox Church is truly involved in the heavenly worship. We actually don't say that the grace of God, quote unquote, comes down upon the church. Rather, the church is taken up into heaven. And mystically the angels and the saints are present. And the priest who is serving the liturgy, Christ is mystically serving the liturgy, not just the priest. Not the priest. It's really Christ and his holy priesthood that is in a sense serving through the priest. And we read about this in the Book of Revelation. And we read it numerous times in the lives of the saints, where they went into paradise, where they saw the heavenly liturgy. All of these things are a foretaste of that. Go to a church. Go to an Orthodox church. Go to a divine liturgy. It's the greatest event on earth.
