Why can't I quit porn even though I go to confession?

The precondition of his whole method is an internal sense of anger: a man has to feel for himself that pornography and fantasy are pathetic, unmanly activities that do not define who he is. He notes that men often come to confession expecting the priest to supply the accountability while lacking any internal sense of who they are as men. Without that conviction — that the behavior keeps a man childish, immature, and running from responsibility — being outwardly religious will not hold.
