Manhood
Why do I need a spiritual father?
A spiritual father is a 'cheat code for life': while a young man weaves through the labyrinth of his twenties — career, spouse, money — the spiritual father sees the whole maze from above and steers him around pitfalls he can see in his character, including the hyper-impulsive decisions of young men. His core criterion for choosing one: it must be a man whose way of life you want to emulate, because his guidance forms his own character in you and he takes you where he himself is going. He adds two caveats — a spiritual father will not lead you out of your own personality, and for areas outside his experience, such as career and money, other mentors may be needed.
