Will I ever stop struggling with lust completely?

He deliberately refuses the word 'overcome,' saying a man will be battling lust for the rest of his life — women will still be beautiful, immodesty will still catch the eye, and the devil will keep attacking this low-hanging fruit until the day he dies. What changes with practice and discipline is the character of the battle: like working sugar out of a diet, the craving loses its grip, and the real question becomes how much time, attention, and thought is given to the temptation rather than whether it appears.
