Why do I feel like my situation is hopeless?

Number two, despair. This is an easy one and kind of a low hanging fruit. If we piggyback on the first one, what we notice is there is a demonic energy that is surrounding negative thoughts, feelings and emotions. So when you see the thoughts are pushing a person in that direction, there is only one underlying lie that needs to be dismantled, and that is: my circumstances are out of control, or out of God's providence. That is the lie that leads to despair. For the Christian there is always hope. Dum spiro spero, as long as I breathe I hope. The Christian life is all about hope.
