If I married the wrong person, can the marriage still become a good one?

Marriage requires a lot of humility. Will you marry the wrong person? In a sense, yes, because you married a real person, and they're not going to be everything in every little way that you, in your delusional mind, may think that they should be. But can you make that person into the right person? Absolutely. And how do you do that? By working on yourself. By modifying your attitude. By increasing your gratitude. By being thankful for the things that they do well, and ignoring the things that they're struggling to accomplish. So much of marriage is this perspective that if I can change the other person then I'll be happy. And this is a false way of thinking. The real key to marriage is, how can I work on myself to make myself the best spouse that I can be for my spouse. When we have the right perspective and attitude, brothers and sisters, this is the key. This brings joy and harmony and love back into the marriage. And you realize you didn't marry an idea. You married a person, and they've got strengths and they've got weaknesses, and you've got strengths and you've got weaknesses. And the two of you come together to make the perfect person and the perfect parent for your children when you're working together in harmony.
